Securing Human Rights for people with disabilities

Behind the scenes of the Real Way Down documentary in Sofia, Bulgaria... In the institutions for children with disabilities, hundreds of deaths were caused by hunger, cold and neglect, dozens poisoned by drugs, held tied up and physically abused. The Bulgarian Helsinki Committee provides reports on human rights violations with a special emphasis on rights of the child. .
