The NGO SIPAR (Soutien à l'Intiative Privée pour l'Aide à la Reconstruction) was founded in 1982. Its mission is to fight against illetrism in Cambodia. The NGO builds libraries in schools and education centres. A network of mobile libraries support education in the most remote areas of the country. SIPAR is also a publishing company which produces books in Khmer language. Fighting against illetrism to fight against poverty.
